Fun with cousins

So tuesday's are going to be cousin fun day! Sara works on tuesdays so Allie and Nathan get to come and play for the day. Some of the things they've done today are watch cartoons, play board games, build huts, played hide and seek, tag and just hung out!

For lunch Brock BBQ ball park hot dogs. (very Yummy!) He sindged is eye lashes while starting the grill but cooked the hot dogs to perfection.

Next week we've planned to have a movie day with pillows, blankets, popcorn and candy.

Harli and Mom date day

This morning Harli and I went to breakfast at my work. We both had a full breakfast for the total amount of $5.00. After we ate we went to get Harli's retainer, she is having a very rough time getting it in. Once the retainer is in, her top and bottom teeth do not touch and she has a hard time with some words. It will take some getting used to, if she puts it in and leaves it in.

Memorial Day

A day of family, memories and making new memories. 7 years ago my dad passed away very unexpectedly of a heart attack. I think we all miss him very much and oh how things would be so different if he were still here. Do I think things would be better? Yes and No. Yes, cause he would be here and there wouldn't be the pain and longing for him. But on the other hand, I think when we as a family lost him, we have become closer to our mom and to each other. I feel like we have always been close but it is a different kind of closeness that we have now. I think for the most part, my dad would be proud of his family for how we have and are handling life. well enough of that.

All my family came over for our 7nth annual memorial day BBQ. This year we shared our togetherness with my brother-in-laws mom, Monika and little brother Kevin and Kevins girlfriend Whitney.(their like family) So there was my Mom and Doug, Jason, Sara, Allie and Nathan, me, Brandon, Brock, Kayla, Harli, and Sammi, Seth and his dog puck, Staci and Martin, Monika, Kevin and Whitney. We had a full house with good food. My mom, brothers, sister and I went to the cemetary together to pay our respects. We laughed so much! I don't think we will ever grow up. I love my family sooooo much and am very thankful that I'm in the family that I am in. I also feel very blessed to be apart of Brandons family and love them too. We get along so great and have fun whenever we get together.

School is Out!!!

This last week has been crazy with school events, Sammi finished pre-school with Mrs. Aunt Sara. Sammi is going to miss her friends and Mrs. Sara (but she'll always have Aunt Sara).

Harli had her 1st grade end of year program. She did really good and sang really loud.

She is going to miss her teacher, Miss Carter.

Kayla had 6th grade graduation. Wow I can't believe she is out of elementary. Kayla's teacher was Mr. Skeen.(He was also Brocks 6th grade teacher-we love him.)

Brock was a true teenage boy getting his yearbook signed by girls. It was fun, Brock came home and handed me his yearbook. Brock let me read thru his yearbook and it took me back to my younger years when I signed year books (I don't think much has changed-"Have a good summer" "Your so cool, don't change" "Call me" "I'm going to miss you" "u r 2 cool 2 b 4 gotten" "see ya next year" "don't forget me". I think the only new things in his year book that was not mentioned in my days were "E-mail me" and "text me".

Well enough of that. Summer is here and there is only a couple of months til school starts again, but who's counting?

F.H.E. @ Staci's 05/19/08

So we went out to Staci and Martins and had meat and rolls, salads, chips, fruit and pop.

Staci also made us snow cones they were delicious.

We celebrated Allie and Nathans birthdays,

surfed the net on computers, scrapbook projects,

And well, we just had alot of fun!!!

SUNDAY A DAY OF PEACE AND REST

WHAT A DAY! RUSHED TO CHURCH , HARLI GAVE THE OPENING PRAYER IN PRIMARY, BROCK WAS SET APART AS SECOND COUNSELOR IN THE DEACONS QUORUM (FOR A MONTH UNTIL HE GOES INTO THE TEACHERS QUORUM.) KAYLA WAS A YOUTH SPEAKER IN SACRAMENT MEETING AND SPOKE ON THE SUBJECT "LATTER DAY SAINT WOMEN" THAT BRAN HELPED HER WRITE. MY MOM (GRANDMA CHEEVER) CAME TO LISTEN, OF COURSE WE BOTH CRIED LIKE LITTLE BABIES. SPEAKING OF BABIES, ALL MINE ARE GROWING UP SO MUCH WAY TO FAST. WHILE I WAS HOLDING SAMMI IN SACRAMENT SHE STILL CUDDLES ON MY LAP AND I ROCK HER AS I'VE ROCKED ALL MY BABIES. THE THING IS I THINK I MIGHT LOOK A LITTLE FUNNY ROCKING MY 4 YEAR OLD IN SACRAMENT BUT I GUESS I REALLY DON'T CARE CAUSE I LOVE IT. I AM REALLY MISSING THE BABY STAGES RIGHT NOW. (NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE THOUGH.) ANYWAY, I AM NOW ENJOYING SOME PEACE AND REST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THINGS ON MY BLOG WHILE PASSING TIME UNTIL WE GO OUT TO MY LITTLE SIS. STACI AND MARTIN'S HOUSE FOR F.H.E. AND DINNER AND TO CELEBRATE ALLIE AND NATHANS BIRTHDAYS (MY NEICE AND NEPHEW).
WELL AS MAKAYLA SAYS G.T.G., B.F.N. (GOT TO GO, BYE FOR NOW)
